As the festive season has already begun in full swing, a lot of launches and brand announcements are keeping us busy lately. We have been on our toes to get you the exclusive stuff, and last week we visited designer Asha and Gautam Gupta’s flagship store in the swanky Defense Colony market in New Delhi to find out the latest offerings from this label.
Gautam, who has totally re-invented his label Vinayak Couture, gave us a sneak peek of the latest Indian wear that he has designed for the upcoming festivities. Currently, the store has around 100 garments on display in various sections as part of this latest festive range. The designer mentions that the collection will be changed quite frequently as they will be adding new pieces with recent trends in ethnic wear.
The current line comprises of beautiful handwoven silk, net, georgette and cotton saris, rich brocade blouses and lehengans with embellished borders and floor-length Anarkali suits for women. The colour palette is vibrant with a mix of rich Indian shades like yellow, green, red, orange, fuchsia and blue that suits the land of fairs and festivals perfectly. So if you are planning to shop for festivals, this is the store you must not miss!
