The month of September is a very important time for fashion houses. Almost all the major brands across the world release their latest ad campaigns at the beginning of this season. As this marks the onset of Fall/Winter in most parts of the globe, a lot of attention is paid on the advertising strategies and brand representations. We picked out some of the most interesting fashion ad campaigns for you this season, have a look!
1. Fendi’s Fall Winter 2015-2016 advertising campaign “Arty Puppets” pays homage to the renowned Swiss artist Sophie Taeuber-Arp, who is known to develop some of the most incredible modern and graphic installations.
The campaign focuses on life sized 3-D puppets that give the entire campaign a larger than life appeal. The highlight of this campaign are iconic Fendi handbags such as the Peekaboo, also in its micro version and the newly introduced Peekaboo clutch.
2. The Fall 2015 Calvin Klein Jeans global multi-media advertising campaign is all about stories from everyday life. An innovative sociological experiment turned fashion campaign, the visuals provide an editorial narrative of how a modern generation uniquely approaches sexual connection in a digital world. Shot by fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti in New York City, the latest campaign for the brand includes a diverse global cast of models and actors. Consumers act as spectators as the campaign communicates the intricacies of modern relationships in a digital age, shedding a light on how dating and sex has evolved over time, inspired by true stories of young adults in New York, London, Sao Paulo and Seoul. The global media campaign has been produced under the creative direction of Calvin Klein, Inc.’s in-house ad agency and creative studio, working with creative agency, Mother New York.
3.Opulent restraint is the theme of the Michael Kors Fall Collection 2015 advertising campaign, shot by Mario Testino. For Michael Kors Collection, Testino evoked a luxe and private moment by photographing model Natasha Poly in the backseat of a vintage Rolls Royce. The images highlight the rich, artisanal detail of the clothes and accessories.
4.Celebrating its 30th year, Tommy Hilfiger turns classic American football on its head to create “TEAM HILFIGER” for it’s F/W 2015 ad campaign. TEAM HILFIGER is photographed by Craig McDean, styled by Karl Templer and creatively directed by Trey Laird of Laird + Partners. Photographed in Monterey Park, California, the campaign stars supermodel Behati Prinsloo, who returns as a brand ambassador for the second consecutive season.
Loving the MK and CK collections this fall. Also the oh so nautical Tommy Hilfiger too.
