NeuWorld Spirits forays into alco-bev industry with two whisky brands

The newly established NeuWorld Spirits has ventured into the alco-bev industry with the launch of Downing Street and Royal Tribe whiskies catering to the premium and semi premium segments respectively. Both Downing Street and Royal Tribe are made from selected grains and blended with Scotch. The brands will be available initially across Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and by March 2023 they will be available across north India.
Downing Street is priced in the range of Rs. 800-850 (in the launched states) for 750 ml, while Royal Tribe is priced in the range of Rs. 500-550 in the launched sates for 750 ml. Both the brands will be available in Quart, Pint and Nip. With one bottling plant in Nahan, Himachal Pradesh and Dera Bassi, Punjab, NeuWorld Spirits will be introducing craft Gin, premium Vodka, premium Brandy, Rum and, fusion Malts by December 2023, making it a formidable player in the Indian liquor industry. With targeted turnover of Rs. 100 crores in the first year, NeuWorld Spirits is looking forward to garnering 5% market share in the segments present. NeuWorld Spirits will be producing in excess of 300,000 cases of alco-bev from its bottling plants in Nahan and Dera Bassi.

According to a report titled Indian Alco-Beverage Market by Technopak Advisors, the IMFL market in India is estimated to touch 425 million cases with whisky having 60% market share followed by Brandy with 16%, Rum with 14% and White Spirits with 7% market share.
