MBD privé suites at Radisson Blu Noida is a perfect idea of a short vacation in complete luxury

Every hard-working individual needs some credit at work and a well-deserved break from work from time-to-time. While most families and couples choose to go on a longish summer vacation, not everyone gets the luxury of time to be away from city. If you have been craving for a break or just bored of going to same places every weekend, why not book a luxurious stay at the MBD privé suites at Radisson Blu Noida and enjoy a luxurious staycation? We tried it, and we loved it!

The suite life

The MBD Privé collection at the Radisson Blu Noida has been spread across three floors of elaborately designed rooms.  Each suite is decorated with fine upholstery, lavish furniture and comes with a bespoke bouquet of personalized services catering to the guests. As we reached the five-star property on a hot summer afternoon, we were taken to our suite on the sixth floor.

A fresh bouquet of flowers, an assortment of handmade chocolates, a cheese platter and a bottle of wine was laid out on a glass top table for us to welcome us in style. Every suite comes with a personal butler service – and our butler Sidharth was exactly like a modern-day genie that appeared from nowhere every time we needed something.

Decadent décor

While sipping a glass of fresh watermelon juice with mint, we took a quick look at the décor of our suite, where the interiors were done in rococo style blended with Indian embroidery and authentic ‘dabka’ work on drapes and cushions. Each furniture piece was finished meticulously with gold carvings that dated back to the 1800s.

It felt like we landed in a tasteful palatial room as we were surrounded by rich fabrics, high beds with footstools, elegant bathroom fittings, modern amenities and neoclassical carpets. The room was inspired by the Venetian and French aesthetics and equipped with modern luxuries like a LED TV, Smart AC and light control – absolutely befitting for a modern royalty. While the corridors were accentuated by colonial paintings, carpeted floor and Italian wooden and stone finishes, the guest suites boasted of emperor beds with intricate gilt bed wall canopies and bed throws.

Gastronomical delights

A stay at the hotel is incomplete without its signature food and drinks, and we tried some of the best India, Pan-Asian and European cuisines during this exquisite stay. A signature tea service every morning will wake you up after a peaceful night of sleep. And, after getting ready we headed to the breakfast buffet which came with an assortment of salads, juices, coffee &tea, muffins, croissants, South Indian delicacies, Chinese and European breakfast spreads.

For our lunch, we tried some delish mutton, chicken and fish kebabs prepared for us by the Master Chef Mohd. Khursheed of Made In India restaurant. The chef also served us some lip-smacking biryani, gosht nihari and dal makhani to complete a hearty meal.

Whereas, for the dinner, we went to the famous RED (Rare Eastern Dining) where chef Raymond Sim from Singapore delightfully welcomed us with some of his best dishes. From sushi garnished with gold caviar to Thai green curry served with snapper and a delicious serving of pan-fried litchi ice cream. We literally had outdone ourselves in the 24 hours of this awesome trip.

Privé Privilege

If you are a traveller or a business head staying at the privé suite for work or leisure, you can also head to the special Privé Lounge in the evenings. This is an exclusive area created for privé customers for networking dinner and complimentary cocktail hours. Or if you are alone just flip through the books stocked at the library for passionate readers while you enjoy a neat cocktail.

Oh! the best part — after a long day of shopping and indulgence when you come back to your suite the staff prepares a super awesome bath for you with rose petals, soothing crystals and scented candles. A dip into the delightful shower and you are bound to forget all your worries. After all it’s all about washing away your worries and stress, so why not do it in luxury!

Spa-cial treatment

Since we wanted to experience the best pampering, the hotel staff arranged a relaxing spa appointment for us at their in-house spa ESPACE. Considering it was a weekend stay, we had to book a masseuse in advance to give us some rejuvenation therapies like olive oil massage with a seaweed and vanilla coffee scrub. After a quick spa session, we took a shower and headed to chill by the poolside with a couple of coolers.

If you have been waiting to gift yourself or someone special a delicious experience that includes a lavish stay, delightful meals and much-needed me-time then a stay at the MBD privé suites at Radisson Blu Noida is what we highly recommend! Watch this video for more inspiration !
