Delhi-based designer Rajdeep Ranawat recently invited us for an exclusive preview of his Resort Wear collection at his flagship store in Delhi’s Meherchand market. His collection called ‘An Escape to Italy’ was a colourful riot of prints that were inspired from the picturesque sceneries of Italy’s costal line.
Rajdeep, who is a NIFT graduate, carefully imbibed his signature style using Swarovski beads in hues of Aurora borealis, rose and sapphire on the flowy fabrics. The cruise wear collection, inspired by holiday season had stunning hand painted artworks adorned with Swarovski crystals.
The designer also used architectural paintings of villas, islands, boats and pretty foliage inspired by beautiful seascapes of picturesque coastal cities of Portofino, Positano, Sorrento and Amalfi as part of this line.
