League of extraordinary gentlemen

A lot of men usually complain about the lack of brands that exclusively cater to their lifestyle needs. Recently, an exclusive affair called the Gentlemen’s Club was held in Delhi to meet the needs of those gentlemen, who love to indulge in men’s luxury segment that ranges from fashion, automobiles, wellness, travel, golfing and grooming. Organised by Poonam Gurbuxani Puri and Smriti Puri, the event saw the presence of designers, corporate heads and social glitterati to launch the first edition of this event.

Gentlemen’s Club was also a setting to the curtain raiser of the Men Universe India 2016 pageant. The first ten semi finalists to the pageant walked the ramp, showcasing designs by Jaya Mishra, Siddartha Tytler, Joy Mitra, Ashish Soni, Dhruv Kapoor, KanikaGoyal and Sahil Aneja. The ten semi finalists from Delhi will go on compete with their counterparts from other parts of the country before making it to the Grand Finale in April this year. Kiran Gill – first winner of Men Universe India who represented India at the Men Universe Model in 2008 and Sumit Singh – winner 2015 of Men Men Universe India who represented India at the Men Universe Model in 2015 were the showstoppers at the fashion show.

The event combined retail therapy with interactive sessions with experts from various fields such as watchmakers, cigar connoisseurs and designers. Participating brands at the exhibit included AM:PM, Amethyst by Rahul Popli, Ashish N Soni, AseemGioielli, Brahaan, Cingari,Chandon, Delhi Bespoke Company by Sankalan, Dhruv Kapoor, Dormeuil, Ducati, Hands of Gold, Happily Unmarried, Hemmistry, Jaguar, Joy Mitra, Kanika Goyal, Khanijo, Knotted Lane, Outhouse, Rosy Ahluwalia, Sahil Aneja, Siddartha Tytler, Square Loop, Shivan & Narresh, Titleist, Tonino Lamborghini, Ustraa, Vacheron Constantin and Vaish Bespoke.
